Dear An-Najah National University Students,

The Zajel Youth Exchange Program of the Public Relations Department is pleased to announce this year’s summer voluntary camp “Global Palestine” which will take place from September 6th-20th, 2011

 

Created in 2001, the Zajel program has been running annual international summer camps. This year, The international volunteers work alongside volunteers from An-Najah National University to provide a variety of activities for international and local participants. The volunteer camp is also an opportunity for both to learn about each others' cultures, share ideas, enhance practical skills and foster relationships.

 
Zajel is now looking to recruit students of An-Najah National University to help organize the summer camps. Being an organizing volunteer will be a challenging but highly rewarding experience. Committed volunteers are required, as they will have to dedicate about three weeks to working full-time at the camp, plus be involved in camp organization before the camp begins.
 

In the months leading up to the camp, volunteers will be provided with a training course that covers a wide range of topics from exploring cultural differences between Palestinians and Internationals to practical information about organizing the camp.
